I'm Tenae

I help modern witches like you nourish your mind, body, and intuition so you can be your most magickal self - all day, every day

A Real Witch

Hi, there! I’m Tenae Stewart, the Witch of Lupine Hollow. I’ve been a practicing cottage witch for nearly a decade and I love supporting modern witches in finding their path more easily than I did!

When I first got started on my own path, I was 100% in the broom closet, didn’t have a clue what I was doing, and the witchy section at the bookstore was like half a shelf. I felt lost and alone on my journey and even quit practicing for two years in college because I “didn’t have time!”

Shortly after college, I was no longer practicing, (and actually thought my witchcraft experiences had been a “phase”), but I was about to have a major spiritual awakening – and a general wake-up call to what really mattered to me.

A few months after graduating with my art history degree, I lost my home in a wildfire. My childhood family home, my cat and my dog, a century of family heirlooms, and everything else I owned were gone within hours.

I spent several months kind of drifting through my new existence, mired in my grief and loss.

And then one day, at a closing sale for a local chain craft store, I stumbled across a cheap palmistry poster. Something about it drew me in. I wound up bringing it home, stapling it to an equally cheap frame, and hanging it on the very bare walls of our apartment at the time.

But that silly little poster sparked something in me. I Googled some of the blogs I used to follow on magick, out of curiosity, and was shocked and amazed to discover that in the two years prior, witchcraft had experienced a major renaissance on the internet.

Within months, I had recommitted to my path as a cottage witch, dove into the shadow work that would ultimately pull me out of my grief spiral, and begun to record my experiences on a personal accountability blog. It felt so right and so freeing to start connecting and building a community of witches and to rediscover the empowering, healing magick of my intuition and astrology.

That blog eventually became The Witch of Lupine Hollow, which led me to realize my lifelong dream of becoming a published author and even to leave my job as an events manager to become a full-time professional spiritual coach and certified astrologer.

Have you been feeling lost and alone too, or like you don’t have the time, energy, or space to practice the way that you want to? Sometimes the magickal life that we conjure up in our heads seems like a straight up pipe dream.

But you deserve all the magick you desire and I’m here to help you experience it – all day, every day.

My Process

I work with a variety of spiritual and healing modalities, including astrology, the cycles of the seasons and moon phases, archetypes and goddesses, intuitive techniques and divination, and more to support you in creating a spiritual practice that’s truly fulfilling. Altogether, I call my method the Pillars of Simple Magick.

We use most or all of these tools in all of my programs and opportunities, from self-guided online courses to private astrology readings and from our seasonal sacred circle, The Starlight Coven, to private mentoring experiences!

It’s also essential to me and to our team that we create spaces which are inclusive and supportive of LGBTQIA2+ individuals and that are actively anti-racist and anti-cultural appropriation.

What does Lupine Hollow mean?

The name Lupine Hollow is inspired by one of my all-time favorite books, Miss Rumphius, with illustrations by Barbara Cooney. Thanks to that book, lupine holds special meaning for me as a bearer of kindness, beauty, and even a little magic.
