There are so many new witchy books and tarot and oracle decks coming out this year! It’s wonderful to see how many people are sharing their magickal talents and knowledge with the world these days. With every best selling witchy book that hits Amazon, magick and witchcraft become a little bit more normalized and a little bit better understood.

Whether you are shopping for yourself or for the special witch in your life, these newly released and upcoming options are sure to impress:

2018 Witchy New Releases Gift Guide | The Witch of Lupine Hollow

  1. The Practical Witch’s Spellbook, by Cerridwen Greenleaf: Released in September 2018, this book is a fairly straightforward introduction to magick but the beautiful and colorful illustrations make it a must-have for newbie and advanced witches alike.
  2. The Witch’s Book of Self-Care, by Arin Murphy-Hiscock: Due to release in December 2018, I love the magickal self-care focus of this book. Though there are lots of books out there about modern self-care, few of them take a specifically witchy point-of-view and Murphy-Hiscock has set out to change that.
  3. Otherkin Tarot, by Siolo Thompson: Siolo Thompson’s Linestrider tarot deck is probably my all-time favorite deck, so I’m always excited when she has a new release. Though this deck won’t be released until June 2019, Thompson’s beautiful, signature watercolor artwork and the deep symbolism of animals and myths throughout the deck promise it will be worth the wait.
  4. Amenti Oracle Feather Heart Deck, by Jennifer Sodini: Set to release in May 2019, this new 42-card oracle deck is based around the esoteric ideals of balance and truth that are central to ancient Egyptian beliefs. The deck will feature modern color-blocking illustrations of the ancient concepts and ideals such as “I Am Humble”.
  5. Inner Witch, by Gabriela Herstik: Newly released in September 2018, this book takes a very modern approach to magick, especially the aspects of glamour and fashion that are a part of many modern witch’s practices.

Also new this year is my Developing Your Daily Spiritual Practice program, designed to help modern witches like you create a daily spiritual experience that suits your lifestyle, beliefs and needs. I can’t wait to work with you in 2019 – treat yourself this season and sign up for the program now!

What new or upcoming witchy releases will you be splurging on this season?
